We planted coffee at Carool in October 1994. Two city people trying to work out farm life. When we finally had a crop we were amazed to find our hard work had produced coffee with a wonderful rich, chocolate flavour. All the flavours of Carool, volcanic soils, sunshine and 2 metres of rain a year. It’s been a great journey with the coffee, from Carool Coffee and now Wirui Estate. We take pride in the path we have taken by promoting our region, the coffee of the Northern Rivers and local produce.
