Clarrie Hall Dam Wall Track 

Head to the Clarrie Hall Dam Wall track for an 8km trail featuring some steep elevation to get your heart pumping. On this walk you’ll wander through towering eucalypt forests while enjoying stunning views of the dam. With barbeque facilities and picnic areas, it’s an ideal spot for lunch.

Tips: Bring water, pack food and consider hiking poles for steep or slippery sections. Gates are open daily from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (6:00 pm during daylight saving).


Pottsville Environmental Park 

Located 45 minutes from Origin House, Pottsville Environmental Park is a convenient bushland escape. Its well-marked looped trails are perfect for families, with native flora, fauna and wildlife to enjoy along the way.

Northern Rivers Rail Trail 

Popular with cyclists, the recently repurposed Northern Rivers Rail Trail is also perfect for walkers. Along the way, you’ll pass historic rail bridges and tunnels alongside lush landscapes. Suitable for all ages and abilities, you can choose your distance and pace.
